Ibugesic Forte is a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory medication that contains 400 mg of ibuprofen. It is used to treat a variety of conditions, including:
- Headache
- Migraine
- Toothache
- Backache
- Menstrual cramps
- Muscle aches
- Fever
- Inflammation caused by arthritis
Ibugesic Forte is available in tablet and capsule form. It is taken by mouth with or without food. The recommended dosage for adults and children over 12 years of age is 2 tablets or capsules every 4 to 6 hours, as needed. Do not take more than 6 tablets or capsules in 24 hours.
For children aged 6 to 12 years, the recommended dosage is 1 tablet or capsule every 6 to 8 hours, as needed. Do not take more than 3 tablets or capsules in 24 hours.
Ibugesic Forte should be taken with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or suck the tablets or capsules.
Ibugesic Forte is generally safe for most people when taken as directed. However, it can cause side effects, such as:
- Upset stomach
- Heartburn
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Dizziness
- Drowsiness
- Headache
- Rash
Rare but serious side effects can also occur, such as:
- Stomach bleeding
- Ulcers
- Kidney problems
- Liver problems

Ibugesic Forte should not be taken by people who are allergic to ibuprofen or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It should also not be taken by people with stomach ulcers, bleeding problems, or severe kidney or liver disease.
